Haolin Liu, a Product Designer in Vancouver.
His most recent work stint is with VanPeople Network Ltd. where he designs some of the core offerings like Social Media Engagement, Social Advertising, Care Support and Analytics for big clients with a global reach that helps to integrate their social marketing needs under one roof. Having participated the research and design process for almost a year in this young, rapidly growing startup environment, Haolin develops skills of balancing business goals and engineering constraints, which is consistent with his philosophy as a UX designer.
He graduated from Nankai University, China with a degree in communication design. He is pursuing his MDes. degree in Emily Carr University He loves the human-centered design concept, and is passionate with applying processes he learned in school to his research project and professional work with Fruitech Ltd.
Haolin perceives life as a beautiful journal, and he is alway enthusiastic to adjust to new challenges in life. Owing to his diverse upbringing, he embraces all cultures and try to bring it to the designs he creates in a natural way. Food is his second love and he lets the nose guide him to the pleasures of the stomach once every weekend.
